Commuting Regular Γ-Semiring

We introduce the notion of commuting regular Γsemiring and discuss some properties of commuting regular Γsemiring. We also obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for Γ-semiring to possess commuting regularity. Keywords—Commutative Γ-semiring, Idempotent Γ-semiring, Rectangular Γ-band, Commuting regular Γ-semiring, Clifford Γsemiring.

On Completely Regular Ternary Semiring

We introduce and study the notion of a completely regular ternary semiring. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a ternary semiring to be completely regular are furnished. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification (2010): 16Y30, 16Y99

Biclique coverings of regular bigraphs and minimum semiring ranks of regular matrices

We study the minimum number of complete bipartite subgraphs needed to cover and partition the edges of a k-regular bigraph on 2n vertices. Bounds are determined on the minima of these numbers for fixed n and k. Exact values of the minima are found for all n and k 6 4. The same results hold for directed graphs. Equivalently, we have determined bounds on the minimum value of the Boolean and nonne...

Regular Homotopy Classes of Immersed Surfaces

IN this paper we are concerned with the problem of classifying compact surfaces immersed in Iw” up to regular homotopyt. This subject started in 1958 when Smale classified the immersions of the 2-sphere [17]. For n 2 4 the problem was then completely solved by Hirsch ([8], theorems 8.2 and 8.4): if M2 is a compact surface then for n 2 5 any two immersions f, g : M2 + R” are regularly homotopic,...

Two Classes of Integral Regular Graphs

A graph G is called integral or Laplacian integral if all the eigenvalues of the adjacency matrix A(G) or the Laplacian matrix Lap(G) = D(G)−A(G) of G are integers, where D(G) denote the diagonal matrix of the vertex degrees of G. Let Kn,n+1 ≡ Kn+1,n and K1,p[(p−1)Kp] denote the (n+1)-regular graph with 4n+2 vertices and the p-regular graph with p2 + 1 vertices, respectively. In this paper, we ...
